Aprilaire 5442 Basement Kit for 1800 Series Dehumidifiers

The Aprilaire 5442 Basement Kit can be installed and used with any Aprilaire 1800 series dehumidifier.  In this installation the dehumidifier controls the humidity in two separate zones--primary and secondary. The dehumidifier will dehumidify the primary zone as the first priority and will switch to the secondary zone after the dehumidification needs of the primary zone have been satisfied.  

The 5442 Basement Kit includes the following:

• 2 - 6510 10-inch Normally Closed Dampers
• 2 - 6610 10-inch Normally Open Dampers
• 1 - 24VAC (40VA) Transformer
