The Expedition Radio Kit – 2 Radios & 2 Quantum Loops delivers a complete, rugged communication system designed for remote travel, steep terrain, and demanding environments. This dual-unit kit includes two 5-watt GMRS Expedition Radios paired with two Quantum Loop carabiner attachment systems — providing secure, lightweight mounting for backcountry use.

Each radio is hand-tested to IP67 waterproof standards, features a shatterproof LED screen, and is wrapped in protective rubber padding for exceptional durability. Powered by an 1800 mAh battery, every radio provides 4–6 days of use per charge, even in temperatures as low as -20°F. With 5 watts of GMRS output (the legal max for handheld GMRS), users can expect over 35+ miles line-of-sight or 2–8 miles in typical mountain terrain.

The included Quantum Loop Attachment combines a steel-reinforced thermoplastic loop with a climbing-rated Trango Quantum Carabiner, giving you a secure, lightweight way to clip each radio to harnesses, packs, and gear loops. A reinforced backup leash adds additional security for steep or high-movement environments.

Designed and tested in the Colorado Rockies, this kit is built for climbers, paddlers, skiers, overlanders, and anyone who needs dependable communication in unpredictable terrain.
