Expedition Radio Kit - 2 Radios

The Expedition Radio Kit – 2 Radios provides a rugged, long-range communication system designed for remote travel, backcountry missions, and overland adventures. This dual-radio kit includes two 5-watt GMRS Expedition Radios engineered for reliability in harsh weather, cold temperatures, and rugged terrain.

Each radio is hand-tested to IP67 waterproof standards, making it submersible up to 1 meter and capable of shedding water quickly for clear communication even in wet environments. Designed and tested in the Colorado Rockies, the Expedition Radio features protective rubber padding, a shatterproof LED screen, and an ultra-efficient 1800 mAh battery offering 4–6 days of use per charge, even in frigid -20°F conditions.

With 5 watts of GMRS output, the highest allowed for handheld GMRS radios, users can achieve over 35+ miles of range line-of-sight or 2–8 miles in mountain terrain. Each radio comes equipped with both a compact 7.5 cm antenna and a longer 17 cm antenna for increased range and improved weather channel reception.

This dual-radio kit is ideal for partners, teams, and groups who need dependable, long-distance communication in backcountry settings.
