Designed for Hydroponics

A waterproof design is made specifically for hydroponics and is an inexpensive yet accurate method of measuring the pH and/or fertilizer concentration in a nutrient solution.

• GroLine Waterproof pH Tester: Test nutrient solutions and soil using the NC State University’s Pour Through Sampling method. It features a cloth junction, or salt bridge, for the pH electrode, creating a larger surface area.
• GroLine Waterproof EC/TDS Tester: Equipped with a graphite sensor, this simple tester reduces polarization that is more common with amperometric testers using 2 pins. Single-point automatic calibration mode makes this process fast and easy to accomplish.
• GroLine Waterproof Pocket pH/EC/TDS Tester: Accurately measure these essential elements of growing solutions and soil with one instrument. Quick-Cal solutions allow calibration of pH and conductivity at the same time. It features a replaceable pH electrode with an extractable junction that can be pulled out 1/8 inch to clear clogs.

Automatic Calibration

These testers all have automatic calibration and temperature-compensated measurements.

• The pH tester uses the pH/EC standard or traditional buffer values of pH 4.01, 7.01, and 10.01.
• The EC/TDS tester automatically detects the calibration standard of 5.00 mS/cm in Quick Cal mode or 1.41 mS/cm in standard mode.
• The Pocket pH/EC/TDS tester uses a one- or two-point pH calibration that is automatically set to the same pre-programmed buffer for pH and Hanna Quick Cal solution for EC. For the best, most consistent results, it’s recommended to recalibrate the tester periodically.
