Detail
The JPL MHP-25 10-inch Insulated 25-foot Flex Duct ensures your HVAC system achieves optimal efficiency and performance. Designed for durability and ease of installation, this flexible ductwork features a fiberglass-insulated core wrapped in a reinforced vapor barrier that effectively maintains air temperature and prevents condensation. Whether you're installing new ductwork for HVAC systems, bathroom exhaust fans, or upgrading existing installations, this insulated flexible duct is engineered to meet the highest industry standards.
Key Features and Benefits of the JPL MHP-25 10-inch Insulated Flex Duct
- Fiberglass Insulated Core: The spring steel wire helix encapsulated in a 2-ply air tight inner core efficiently maintains air temperature and reduces energy costs.
- Reinforced Vapor Barrier: Durable, metalized polyester prevents moisture and enhances longevity.
- UL Listed and Labeled: Ensures compliance with strict industry safety and performance standards. Both insulation ratings meet UL-181 Class 1 air duct requirements.
- GREENGUARD Gold Certified: Free of formaldehyde to ensure healthy indoor air.
- Pressure Ratings: Maximum positive pressure is 6 inches w.g. (4- 12 inches) and 4 inches w.g. (14-22 inches), and maximum negative pressure is 1 inch w.g. (4-10 inches) and 1/2 inch w.g. (12-22 inches).
- Comprehensive Warranty: Backed by JPL’s 10-year limited warranty, ensuring peace of mind and long-term reliability.
Available Insulation Ratings
The JPL MHP-25 series provides two primary insulation-rated models to match your HVAC installation requirements:
- R6 Flex Duct: Ideal for moderate climates or interior installations where standard insulation suffices where a balance of thermal efficiency, affordability and flexibility is needed.
- R8 Flex Duct: Recommended for extreme climates, including areas subject to significant temperature swings, or when ducts run through unconditioned spaces where there's a significant temperature difference between the duct and surrounding air, ensuring maximum energy efficiency, reduced heat loss or gain.
